I am going to try and cover some of the projects I have done for my tank. I can't seem to make up my mind on different setups that I have had in place. I have gone from PVC piping to Spa Flex. I had a closed look and then took it down as I didn't like it. Instead a hooked the pump from my closed look in the main return pump. I first had to rebuild it. I bought it used and the prevese owners I don't think ever did any kind of maintenance on it. I have changed out my sump / refuge a couple different times.
I made my own computer controlled water top off system. I have "drilled" a handful of holes into glass tanks with my dremel. I am trying to setup a top off system that runs my RO water so I always have some on hand. I hate having to wait for it. I am making a Kalkwass reactor. I will try to cover the build of these items here.
